Cultural Power

Il potere della cultura nella transizione ecologica

A climate leadership programme for cultural professionals offered by The Field Società Cooperativa in partnership with Associazione Culturale Museo della Bora and Fondazione Santagata per L’Economia della Cultura.

25 november - 9 december 2025

Borarium del Museo della Bora

Via Nazionale, 49

Opicina, Trieste

About the programme

Following the next global climate negotiations “COP30” in Brazil, we will offer a three-day cultural leadership programme for cultural leaders in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, exploring the role of culture in the ecological transition, and building capacity for inspiring action through expert input, dialogue, case studies and practical exercises.

Together we aim to:

  • Bring cultural leaders together to better understand the challenges and opportunities of climate leadership in FVG;

  • Provide specific leadership development on climate action for cultural leaders;

  • Connect cultural professionals to create a peer to peer “community of practice”;

  • Catalyse collaboration between cultural leaders, local municipalities and civil society groups to advance the ecological transition.

The programme will take place in Italian, except for the second public event which will take place in Italian, Slovenian and English to enable a cross-border dialogue as part of the discussions around collaboration within and beyond the cultural sector.

Participation in the whole leadership programme (including the two public workshops) is by application, using our online portal here.
